HarryBosch
Has he actually signed for Doncaster yet? Or has it been announced he will once his contract here ends?
welshgaz
Not signed yet. In fact I would be surprised if they want him now.
no1laticsfan
Not signed yet. In fact I would be surprised if they want him now. Why? I thought he did well there?
welshgaz
Why? I thought he did well there? I'm sure he did. Thinking more along the lines of Donny setting their sights higher.
Lukers1
Wasn't it in the contract that if they won promo we get a fee...
no1laticsfan
I think he would be a good player in the championship. They would just have to be aware that if the side are near the relegation zone he may just jump ship. Haha.
Forte_Baby
Wasn't it in the contract that if they won promo we get a fee... Corney said that at the meeting with LJ and the fans
c.hill12
I believe it was pd's idea for him to go donny so would assume he will sign him.
Monty Burns
I'd have him back. Unfortunatley, expecting one of the AFCON players of the tournament to play in division three is just silly.
4froale
Doncaster are looking at nick powell, would they sign furman to?
razza699
I'd have him back. Unfortunatley, expecting one of the AFCON players of the tournament to play in division three is just silly. I wouldnt.
Ross2509
I wouldnt. He's an international footballer with amazing performances in the AFCON and is now a Champioship standard footballer, yes you would.
NewBlue
He's an international footballer with amazing performances in the AFCON and is now a Champioship standard footballer, yes you would. The standard of AFCON is probably similar or lower than League 1. We have Korey Smith, Wes and Mellor. I'm happy without him.
Ross2509
The standard of AFCON is probably similar or lower than League 1. We have Korey Smith, Wes and Mellor. I'm happy without him. Is it bollocks. The standard of AFCON is at least the Chanpionship, the majority of players in there are playing for European teams, with the minority playing for teams that in Africa which is obviously a lesser league than ourselves. South Africa have very good players in there squad, and after personally watching the whole tournament Furman was absolutely fantastic. He is a lot better than our club and that's why when he had the chance to go he took it, good on him. Our moaning miserable fans getting on his back everytime he passed it to the side etc. Ridiculous. Furman is better than Wes and Mellor without a doubt, international footballer for a reason and Championship bound for a reason. However, with Korey Smith I can't really make a judgement because I haven't seen him play a full season yet but I can't seem him being a lot better than Furman was/is. Simpo
Dean Furman is a really good player who played badly for us last season.
Lags
I wouldn't have bottler Furman back. Simple.
ceskylatic
And Furman wouldn't come back.
HarryBosch
Furman is better than Wes and Mellor without a doubt, If Mellor fulfils his potential he'll be a much better player than Furman.
Lags
And Furman wouldn't come back. Agreed. Not currently.
Ross2509
He wouldn't come back and I know many wouldn't want him to because he left us when we needed him BUT footballing terms he is very good and would have him back.
philliggi
He doesnt want to be here and play for the shirt so :censored: him. Id say the same about rvp rooney messi ronaldo or aguero in the same position. You can have all the class in the world but if you cant show the club the respect it deserves i dont want you in my football club
longtimeblue
I'm not sure he deserves the flack I read when people say he jumped ship when we were struggling. If we did get a fee when Donny got promoted, I'd have thought Corney orchestrated the deal. Still think he's miles better than what he showed for the majority of his time here. No doubt with the right management he'd still be an asset but based on what he was producing he weren't worth losing any sleep over.

Lags
PD instigated the move. Furman jumped at it. SC took the cash on offer.
GravityGrave
Corney also said at the fans meeting that we were paying more in wages for korey smiths loan deal than what we were for furman .
