Fervid
I have read some things over here (N.Ireland) via the local rags regarding David Healy coming to Oldham. Anyone heard anything over there in Lancashire?
Tommy_Fent
first I've heard of it (although I'm in South Yorkshire), 1 goal in 16 games at Bury last season, no thanks Edited June 18, 2013 by Tommy_Fent
welshgaz
first I've heard of it (although I'm in South Yorkshire), didn't he steal a wage at Bury last season? That's Robbie Simpson's job!
Latics_Fanatic
Player/Coach role? Surely he's knocking on these days...
rudemedic
Healy speaking to the BBC, said he has been in touch with a few clubs but nothing stands out http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/22950079 Edited June 18, 2013 by rudemedic
Ross2509
I've not heard anything but I hope to god it isn't true! Don't want him anywhere near the club!
LaticsChris
His record last season doesn't make good reading, but if Johnson could get him somewhere near his prime he'd be exactly the striker we need. Having said that I would like to think we're ready to move away from the "he was alright once, remember?" signings of recent years.

Forte_Baby
A big no from me thought he be a good buy for Bury orginally, He has said on BBC he wants to keep on playing so he can reach his 100 caps. rudemedic
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Thread of the summer so far! He couldnt even get a game for Bury when they only had 3 subs!! Probably because he was injured playing against us in the game before.

razza699
Probably because he was injured playing against us in the game before. and the fact his legs went 3 years ago.
pinevillawill
No no no! Bury supporting father-in-law reckons he's one of the worst strikers they've had for years.
davegtt
Wouldnt mind, just so then I can say I do play for Oldham Athletic and get away with it

When Bury signed him I do remember saying he could be the type of player we needed, but I think he has proved that I would have been wrong. Might be wrong, but I think he was in the coaching course that Joey Barton wouldn't shut up about on twitter. You could be right there..
