supertaylor
I've heard from a reliable source that we have offered him a 2 year deal and he's set to sign. He's currently on trial at Blackburn but they haven't firmed anything up so he's set to joining us. Would be a quality signing by all accounts Edited June 27, 2013 by supertaylor

HarryBosch
I can't think of a better (realistic) signing than this if its true. Exactly what we need.
oafcprozac
Greganesque and another one who knows what it takes to do well in this Division. Would be pleased with this one and still only 31, great age for a CB and the leader we need.
Tommy_Fent
would be an adequate replacement for MVoto and add that much needed experience that our team appears to lack
lookersstandandy
Ian Evatt was playing in the Premier League 2 years ago. I'd be surprised if it were true, but delighted all the same.
Lee Sinnott
Heard his name mentioned about five days ago as our experienced CB to replace Clifford... I'd be happy with that...
Gaz_Oafc
Straight in as captain for me. Think he'll find a club above our level though.

Stevie_J
I didn't realise Blackpool had released him. Would be very pleased to see him in a Latics shirt.
mikeroyboy
I can't help thinking that the way the signings are shaping up and the outgoings have gone/going Johnson should have enough in the kitty to row the boat out a couple of times. Central defender, striker, for example.
ghostofcecere
Is he only 31?? He seems to have been around for ever! That would be a very good signing of we can pull it off

laticdickovarmy
If and it's a big if he signs it could be as big a coup as you will see in this league this season Very very good player for this level, could be the skipper?
slystallone
Nah. Not having this.... Gary Doherty all over again. Fake rumours for a 'laugh'. I'll have a go myself, erm - Chris Hackett. Yep, we're going to sign him. 2 year deal.

Lukers1
Better than big Jean and a great captain if true. Would be delighted as not seen him have a bad game. Can hope but thought out of our range. How many games have you seen him play?.
Lee Sinnott
I was often staggered that he played any Premier League games at all, but I'm sure he'd be a decent acquisition at our level...
Laticacid
There are many clubs in championship and top end of league 1 who would offer evatt a deal . Hope I'm wrong , but this sounds like total bollocks.
OAFCKeepTheFaith
Varney, Commons and Evatt all in one day! All bollocks.
