PlayItLivo
Just announced on SSN that Coventry will start the season tomorrow with an immediate 10 point deduction. Means they can fulfil their fixtures for the season though
ChrisA
They also give away rights to food sales etc! Crazy How silly of them. Can't think of another club who would do that.
BP1960
They're bollocksed. Listening on 5 Live the other night. Points deduction, no players signed, 210 ST holders so no income, and if they're not out of admin by end of August they'll have to play the first half of the season with only the paper thin squad they have and free agents. Even if they came through and went back to the Ricoh they're still tenants with no connection to those who own the land. A sad sad situation and as ever it's the supporters who suffer. What happens to the Coventry stadium, pulled down for housing - or a white elephant ?
garcon
They could put all the people who are sent to Coventry in it?
Lukers1
How silly of them. Can't think of another club who would do that. We gave away our beer sales for years.. cough

blueatheart
Attendance 2204 today, 5-4 to Coventry at the moment. Can't see them keeping 2000+ all season, imagine it'll be 1000 on a Tuesday. 10000ish their attendances last season.
blueatheart
Finished 5-4. There was a charity match at the Ricoh today with Coventry fans saying 8000 are there.
stevesidg
Finished 5-4. There was a charity match at the Ricoh today with Coventry fans saying 8000 are there. Don't understand this If we were playing 40+ miles away I'd go to that , rather than to a charity match at a ground which was charging us too much rent There must be some things going on in the background there
jsslatic
Really? I don't imagine we'd muster 500 of our own if SC announced we were playing at home for three seasons at say Crewe.
opinions4u
I'm still sure that the various companies that are Coventry City are trying to make the owners of the stadium go bust, then pick up the whole lot on the cheap.
Matt
Don't understand this. If we were playing 40+ miles away I'd go to that ... The 5 miles between Royton and Failsworth nearly sparked a :censored:ing war.
garcon
The 5 miles between Royton and Failsworth nearly sparked a :censored:ing war. I still don't entirely understand how that war petered out with nobody taking the obvious opportunity to raze Failsworth to the ground. leeslover
I still don't entirely understand how that war petered out with nobody taking the obvious opportunity to raze Failsworth to the ground. The plan was undone by a lack of Tramlink connections
deyres42
If you've got anything about you as a person you wouldn't be going through the gates at Northampton. Just goes to show that some people can't help themselves when it comes to going to the game, no matter what the circumstances.
