Stevie_J
Can't say I'm impressed. Hope he proves me wrong.
ZiggaZaggaAthletic
Decent record. Not expecting a goal scorer here but perhaps someone who could mentor Clarke-Harris/Millar and maybe additional younger strikers we sign?
4froale
don't expect him to be the main striker tbh, think he could be decent coming off the bench
oafcprozac
It's coming together a piece at a time, I like the fact we've given him a year with an option. That way with him having played all his career in the South the options are open should he fail to settle. Rather us do the year with an option so we don't end up with turds like Feeney holding the club to ransom for the remaining 18 months of his deal 6 months into the contract. Get me another striker, a couple of CB's and maybe another keeper and I'll be confident we're good to go.
oafcprozac
Much needed experience, I still think LJ will have a couple of 'shocks' up his sleeve. One or two - how the hell have we pulled that one off. For me looking at who we have signed so far, I expect plenty of manoeuvre in the budget still.... We still need a lump in attack, lump at CB and bit of pace at CB. oafcprozac
Scored a brace at BP in March 2009, one was a cracker if I remember rightly. Cold night, no bugger here - sub zero, and sub 3,000 crowd....Kirk Millar made his full debut.....
byrnes boots
I hope lj is stood on something or is McDonald that small
pukka
I expect plenty of manoeuvre in the budget still.... I dont. I expect 2 more "who are they?" defenders in. Not to say they wont be decent. Just not much in the way of wages.
Ross2509
Meh.
c.hill12
A goal every 3 games. Not shabby if he also brings others in2 play. If he is 1st choice i'd expect 35 goals between him n jose
ottantuno
Got a feeling this guy will do well for us but then, and I know the 'F' word is a touchy subject on here, I thought that about Feeney.
Oh Heck C-Beck
As long as we sign another striker to keep the competition up I think this is a good signing. Not expecting a world beater but should add experience and depth to the squad.
rudemedic
I hope lj is stood on something or is McDonald that smallNo McDonald is 5ft7, LJ won't be stood on anything.
Crusoe
As long as we sign another striker to keep the competition up I think this is a good signing. Not expecting a world beater but should add experience and depth to the squad. LJ appears to agree with you. He's just tweeted that he wants one more striker, five in total. rudemedic
Am I the only one who thinks he has been signed to work the channels and bring others into play in dangerous positions? As well as scoring around 10 a season.
dec666
I can only think of 3 strikers, Clarke-Harris, MacDonald and Millar? Maybe that's a clue that the trialist striker is all but officially signed!

dec666
Baxter? That's the one! Wonder where this leaves our trialist striker then, guess he will get the chance to impress tonight.
Simpo
Experienced striker eh? Here's hoping he's more of a Warne than a Feeney! Speaking of Warney, he'll be back at Latics this seaosn as part of Rotherham's coaching staff.
HarryBosch
No marquee signing but a wise old head which is exactly what we need.
