Well done for making it this far....

Recommended Posts

Congratulations for surviving the last eight weeks or so of shopping with the other half, gardening, making do with tennis, golf, horse racing or athletics on the box...

The light is at the end of the tunnel...next Saturday signals the start of the 2013/14 football season. Saturdays, the odd Tuesday and other days when Sky has a say will now have a purpose.

Full of anticipation, promise and excitement - the likelihood of some disappointment along the way - but this coming season COULD be OUR season.

Season doesn't start for me until September as I'm at a wedding next week and then go away, but I'll be glued to my phone and to Soccer Saturday!

Come on you Blue Bastards...

It's sure been a long summer. The cricket has helped, especially the T20, but rugby? I once got dragged to a rugby match between Wales and South Africa. Apparently, it was a cracker. I have no idea as I fell asleep, I was that bored. To each his own, I guess. Roll on Saturday for my first visit to Stevenage. Got done out of the last two seasons with it being moved to a Toosdi neet.

It's gonna be a good season; I can feel it in my water. :OASISscarf:

can't wait for saturday.

really think LJ has put together a good squad on a smaller budget.

not to worried about the defence as most teams will be scared of our attacking style.

really think this team can finish in top 8 if they put effort in all season.

any kind of cup run would also be good.
