Laticacid
I'd start monty, Dayton very lightweight, if monty and Sid are in the mood they ll cause all sorts of problems.
HarryBosch
I'd start Montano ahead of Dayton but I think LJ will play Rusnak
rudemedic
FYI, Millar, Winchester and Eddie will be unavailable as they are on international duty. I can see MacDonald being fit too. Aaron Howarth
Nevermind the bench look at the team! :censored: me we have a good side this season lol Come on lads Lets get a win at Preston!
Ross2509
The only change to that team above should be MacDonald in for Rodgers and then we're done and ready to go.
DTM
Preston play without wide midfielders, don't they? Looking forward to seeing Dayts/Monty/Sid bombing down the outside. Really hope Philliskirk starts.
Stagger Lee
Paul Rachubka to start instead of Oxley ?
iamjonesyyoafc
Surely if Kusunga was to play as a CDM we'd rather have him in there against physical sides than Wesolowski?
Simpo
Paul Rachubka to start instead of Oxley ? I worry about Rachubka after what happened to him at Leeds.
Lee Sinnott
I worry about Rachubka after what happened to him at Leeds. He was fantastic for us on loan a few years back. Really happy with this signing, although I see no reason to drop Oxley yet...
JoeP
I worry about Rachubka after what happened to him at Leeds. Not a glowing reference here..... http://www.leeds.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=331673

shefflatic
All their fans thinking it's a nice easy win for them, mainly predictions of 2-0, 3-0 and 4-0 and calling us 'one of the lesser sides' I think they'll be in for quite a shock when we turn up with the players we have. In all seriousness Wolves and Peterborough aside there is no other stand-out team in this league and i think we have one of the better able squads in the league with not many that are better. Preston certainly dont scare me and are still mainly an image of Westley's time there with the fat lump Davies added to it. Bring 'em on! HarryBosch
That's what I'm expecting to tell the truth... I'm expecting us to score 3 or 4. They might too....
LeylandLatic
They play with wingbacks. 352 I'd be surprised if they set up like that against us. If they've done their homework they will know all about our wingers - we could absolutely massacre them on the break if their wing backs get caught up field, could be an interesting game. DTM
I honestly believe the football world will wake up on Tuesday morning aghast at the superior football of Oldham Athletic. Wouldn't put it past Preston to overconfidantly play 352. They maybe won 3-0 last week, but none of the goals were particularly classy. I predict 3 from Latics, inc. one from a direct free kick. OLDHAMADE
I found it laughable what some of the PNE fans were saying and their predictions will prove to be way off the mark, Instead of last seasons powder puff effort against em I expect us to be up and at em from the off and that they'll have no answer to it. Preston are a good side with a proven manager but with a few players missing and this over confidence I can only see one outcome, We will score goals tonight without fail The answer is can we stop them doing the same? jsslatic
Have we ever beaten a Simon Grayson side? My memories are of us getting dicked by Blackpool, the Leeds wins were over Wise/Bassett and McAllister and I'm pretty sure we lost at the Galpharm when he took over there. pukka
As much as some find the predictions of a 2/3-0 Preston win laughable, I find some of the over confident predictions as equally absurd. We have been very hit and miss so far. I have only seen 3 games. Walsall, Tranmere and Derby. Three 1-0 defeats. We were good against derby for 45 mins, then lacked punch. Appalling against walsall and very good vs Tranmere for a half but faded as we went along. In none of those games did we look like scoring 3/4. In short we are unpredicatable.... but I'm going tonight. 1-0 Preston then Edited September 9, 2013 by pukka
