Matt
I wonder if Oldham fans would like a supporters social club - would this be possible? Is a bar and venue on the cards? I'm not sure what criteria have to be met to join the WMCIU, but the benefits are quite good, with cheap ale too as discounts are passed down to the membership. Live music and events in these social clubs starting at 12:00pm before matches is something that I've witnessed recently at non-league level and thought it'd be good to raise the idea... http://www.wmciu.org.uk/CIU%20benefit%20brochure.pdf http://www.wmciu.org.uk/

real
If its on club ground and not for profit, don't hold your breath It could pay rent to OAFC/Brassbank for the the land it stands on, or for the building if it was built by them. It could be a good use of Trust funds (that might need to be raised) to create a sustainable presence.

Diego_Sideburns
Do you know if that picture is available in print anywhere? It's a picture by Joe Scarborough produced in November 1995 for the Club's Centenary. It was a limited print of 300. They come up on ebay sometimes. Here's another thread on the subject. http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php/topic/36833-joe-scarborough-print/ Edited October 28, 2013 by Diego_Sideburns

longtimeblue
The Chaddy End in particular doesn't look right somehow. It's exactly to scale
BP1960
It's exactly to scale I see it now, it must be an optical illusion on my part. The ref's a big un though. Edited October 28, 2013 by BP1960
bigfatjoe1
I've wanted to buy that print for years. One of Joe Scarborough originals is up for sale on ebay for nearly $30,000. It's of a park in sheffield.

I would pay a decent price for a good quality print of that, will mail Neil and ask if something could be done to everyone's advantage

Doesn't necessarily mean it's for sale though

She was everything you'd imagine. Those guards at Madame Tussauds need to get a sense of humour though
dec666
Now the scoreboard debate has died of a slow death I want a big screen!! To be fair the probably cost as much as a stand lol I seem to remember we were given a big screen by a premier league club. It was around the time the plans for the ground redevelopment came about and they decided not to bother installing it in favour of having a big projector type screen as part of the new plans. Not sure what happened to it.
