Frankly Mr Shankly
Regarding standing areas, is it possible for Latics to develop the two open terrace areas either side of the main stand paddock? They seem ready-made for terraces.
LeylandLatic
Well no, I wouldn't necessarily, it's not a case of it being bigger or smaller. There are so many factors to consider including the site conditions, procurement of materials & labour and the weather. Not to mention that the "few holes in the ground" are the most crucial part of any structure and take a lot more time and effort to prepare than many expect. It's incredible how many people have become construction and architecture experts on here since this project started. I think you'll find that's cos we're all engineers. I'm a Senior Posting Engineer, Rummy's an Administration Engineer, Pine Villians is a Consultant Sarcasm Engineer if I remember correctly... GlossopLatic
Look at the plans on the blog yesterday. They show 9 rows. Not too much of a surprise really is it? The old lookers paddock held around 1000 and went all the way across they said it was only going to be around 2400.
