al_bro
I would say Philliskirk is the better all round player as he is able to play in more positions, and seems to be more involved for longer periods in a game.

dec666
Let's not kid ourselves here, Jose Baxter is obviously the better player from what we have seen so far. That's not to say I dont rate Philiskirk, he's our best forward imo.
RobOAFC
Baxter is the better individual, but Philliskirk is the better team player. Both will make it in the championship at least...
GlossopLatic
Why do we have to have these polls everytime we get a new player who comes into the team and starts to play well? poor Danny Whittaker was forever compared to Richie wellens. what next Clarke Harris or roger Palmer? laticsmarra
Team player. Philli Dribbler close control. Jose Vision special awareness. Philli Tackling. Tie Fitness/energy Tie Goals scoring. Philli Charisma. Jose Passing. Tie Overall I would say Danny Philliskirk will in the long run go further in the game. The transition from Chelsea to league football has not worked out for various reasons, now that he has returned to his spiritual home he can make that transition and ultimaely move on.Equally I think that Oldham was Jose's spiritual home and he may struggle at Sheffield as Danny did ,they are too desperate to get out of our division to give developing players and managers time. Mullet
It's important to remember Baxter's a year younger than Philliskirk, has a better goalscoring record in the league, lit up our team with a very special talent including some superb goals, passing and charisma. Oh, and also practically saved us from relegation last season. Other than that though...

jsslatic
At first I thought it laughable this thread was created. I am flabbergasted Philly is winning. Philly is doing very well at the moment but come on lads and lasses.

maddog
How did maddog manage to vote for both? Spoiling my ballot paper . Poll has been set up as a 'tick as many as you like' one rather than one answer only. It's like comparing beer and wine.
dec666
The only thing I can think of here is that people say Philiskirk is better, as a way of kidding themselves in to thinking they don't miss Baxter. OAFC_Ryan
I'll just say Baxter then, everyone is saying he's great and I have incapable mental capacity to form my own opinion.
