pinevillawill
Forgive my ignorance but are these gold bricks actually gonna be made out of gold? And is the money from the bricks gonna be used to help fund the development or will it be used elsewhere? A scoreboard would be lovely. Heard Arsenal had a spare one kickin' about. KYLEOAFC
Lol I am not joking I really have bought a brick next to corney, put mine and my dads name on it he has worked hard for the club and I am happy with my choice.
jimsleftfoot
Simon saved the club?.... I thought the other two "amigos" put the money in?!?! Money is only the means in which to transact, it doesn't decision make, negotiate, fart, serve cups of tea, wash the toliets or score goals. You need humans for that and the other two amigos are no longer here to either fund or undertake such activity! singe
Some men (and women) are blind to their own cause. Anyone who cannot see the effort, sacrifice that Simon Corney has made, they need to take a good hard look at themselves. Lets not open up about the whole making money arguemtn again. Some people believe he is going to make a killing and retire when we are sold. Others don't. This is personal sacrifice of time, if nothing else. And he has been good to his word. Many, many would have walked away. And interestingly a lot that were the most vocally critical are nowhere to be seen now. they walked away accusing him of that very act. PlayItLivo
Simon Corney isn't one of the 10 legends you can buy a brick next to according to the OS. Think that picture on the article is just a demonstration.

jsslatic
I understand silver bricks are now sold out. That said I wouldn't be surprised if more go on sale as six bricks cannot possibly surround six bricks, presuming they are the same size. HarryBosch
Wouldn't it be apt to have a whip round and get Steve Bashforth two that he can own at the same time?
jsslatic
As there are only six Silver bricks available per legend, Six fit round one brick ...... two on top, one each side, two under. Yes but then they said they were releasing six more silvers per gold brick to form a second ring around the initial six silvers.
Lags
Latics are hoping to release more silvers to eventually have a silver wall!!

LaticsPete
Apparently over 700 sold, each one netting a profit of £35 (more on the silver ones), so income of about £25000.
