Monty Burns
Massive loss Weso. I like Rogers, but I would play Winch then Mellor in CM ahead of him.
leeslover
Massive loss Weso. I like Rogers, but I would play Winch then Mellor in CM ahead of him.Agree. Big chance for Winchester now. I do wonder if we might lack a bit of strength without the Mighty Midget though. Tarky?

We will defo lack strength and bite. Lucky wev've got Korey Smith, don't really expect to see him cross the halfway line now for a while. Hands on
Undoubtedly a red card. Didn't look at the ball and just went for the man. It was clearly their game plan to rough us up. Warnock called it and he was spot on. It is actually an assault. Wes has just got back to his best after the shoulder injuries and now he will have to climb back once again. We will miss him. dave_ragg1984
If a player slides in genuinely trying to play the ball but is late and breaks the other guys leg, it's a red card. So if a player goes for a header, is late and breaks the other guys cheekbone it should be a red.
LaticMark
Law 12 states: Careless, reckless, using excessive force: “Careless” means that the player has shown a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or that he acted without precaution. • No further disciplinary sanction is needed if a foul is judged to be careless. “Reckless” means that the player has acted with complete disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, his opponent. • A player who plays in a reckless manner must be cautioned. “Using excessive force” means that the player has far exceeded the necessary use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent. • A player who uses excessive force must be sent off. http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct.aspx To me it should have been a red card. losesome
Mark Halsey said at HT it was a red card whether or not there was any intent. Glad to see the wild leg breaking lunge on Pertrasso was punished in the highest way , free kick goal that knocked them out of the cup and a £300,000 pay day. Very expensive tackle and they got everything they deserved - nowt.

Bristolatic
If you bear to listen to Cox (apt name, incorrect spelling) here it is. http://www.player.mansfieldtown.net/latest-news/article/3583129 It took him about 41/2 minutes to repeat what he'd said in the first 30 seconds. Christ, I'd rather listen to Dangerous Dave. OK, maybe that's pushing it, but you get the idea.

LaticsPete
Just out of interest Clucas is out for around two months with ankle ligament damage and Hutchinson a month with a hamstring. http://www.mansfieldtown.net/news/article/duo-set-for-lengthy-absence-1245308.aspx That's buggered Hereford . They're in financial dire straits again and hoping Clucas might get a move in January as they'd sold him to Mansfield with a 15% sell on clause.
