ChaddySmoker
Latics, best supported away team in League 1, if you need evidence just look today at Anfield. Lets get behind the lads, sing our hearts out, call the referee a barsteward, tell Suarez how big his teeth are and cheer JCH every time he turns their centre backs and go crazy when we score (first, hopefully!) and get voted best away supporters of the season, as we were last year by Everton fans! oafc1955
We will drop below Carlisle after we've played our games in hand.....very depressing, 17 or so seasons in the same division doesn't help. A promotion or dare I say a relegation could improve it long term. Colchester's new stadium made a lot of difference didn't it and the impetus of a new ground for Notts County a few years ago has long gone. Success on the field is the only way forward....lets hope that any profits from the new stand are ploughed back into the club and we can slowly improve, however, looking at those crowd figures for the division, the general trend is pretty alarming to say the least!! LaticsEddie
Shame the 6000 tics who went today arent regulars every week...
Dave_Og
Get real. I've done 5 games this season including yesterday but like 3000 others yesterday there is no way i'll be there every week
4froale
Bradford apart has an away team brought more than 500 yet?

rudemedic
The only side out of the top 7, we've played at home in the league are Bradford. As 3 of those are local clubs to us, I can see them pushing our average significantly higher. Let's wait til the end of the season before saying we are the 19th best supported side in this League, although that will be difficult as I think we will end up about 12th/13th. Hands on
I said it before and I'll say it again. 19th best support and 19th in our league. That is the benchmark for LJ. We will finish much higher if the team that played yesterday can play like that in the league.
Diego_Sideburns
Colchester's new stadium made a lot of difference didn't it and the impetus of a new ground for Notts County a few years ago has long gone. The world's oldest league club has played at Meadow Lane since 1910.
