the_mighty_bosh
Don't know the centre of Oldham particularly well, so was wondering how long it would take to walk from the new Westwood stop on the metrolink to BP?
yarddog73
15 minutes tops
rudemedic
Google maps says 20 minutes, not sure it is going the best way though, especially if you sit in the Chaddy end
yarddog73
best would be turn back down middleton rd turn right onto featerstall road and turn left by b&m down towards clayton green for chaddy end would be quickest/safest
Forte_Baby
If you get off at King Street proberly take just as long more of a down hill walk. Westwood roughly 8min from the old Werneth stop
Senor_Coconut
Get off at Freehold and it's basically one long road up to b&q
leeslover
This could actually be useful. any buses from BP (well, White Hart) handy for the tram?

HarryBosch
Google maps says 20 minutes I bet it's doable in about 5 depending what mood the locals are in
rudemedic
I bet it's doable in about 5 depending what mood the locals are in Roughly 1.1 miles, if that's doable in 5 minutes for you, can you play football? As I think the club could with a signing who isn't going to get slated before he's even kicked a ball
opinions4u
I once ran from Prenton Park to Rock Ferry Station in three minutes. Pursued by several unfriendly locals.

rosa
181, 182 and 24 from Manchester City Centre* *when it bothers to turn up They helpfully schedule the 181 at 44 minutes past the hour of an evening during the week, meaning that for midweek games you can either leave the game early or wait nearly an hour. Very grateful for the new tram stop. Now, if Network Rail could just finish the engineering works on the Liverpool-Manchester railway that have been going on for two sodding years... longtimeblue
Is Westwood the best to walk from? On the tram tonight and still on my home from work... Pushing it fine.
blueatheart
Centre of Oldham was shut to trams for most of the day, might be causing issues.
