HarryBosch
I prefer the view and "feel" of the Chaddy End which seems to fly in the face of the perceived wisdom. ???
dave_ragg1984
The real issue is "Chaddy Enders - would you go in the RRE if they had a tuck shop?"
pinevillawill
The real issue is "Chaddy Enders - would you go in the RRE if they had a tuck shop?" I'm going nowhere without my Vimto sweets. Nowhere. Edited March 18, 2014 by excharnwoodlatic
beag_teeets
I drive to the games, whether or not beer is available has no bearing on which stand I go in, my "matchday experience" is not affected by the sale of beer. Whether or not there are pillars blocking the view of the thing I have paid to watch does affect my choice of stand.
24hoursfromtulsehill
V&T looks just like sparkling mineral water. A twist of lime and you're away. Drink smart, think smart.
Latics_Fanatic
I'd rather stand on the building site than go in the Chaddy... Seriously though, Chaddy is bottom of the list for me.

Gin and orange if you're of a certain age.Bovril and Rioja or if you like alliteration Bovril and Burgundy, or even Bovril and beer? There maybe a spirit that goes well with Bovril but I'm struggling to think of one.
HarryBosch
Does this vote not say it all about the majority's feeling towards the Chaddy? So far it's saying the atmosphere is so :censored: because we're not drinking enough.
sjk2008
I'd lean more towards the Chaddy is :censored: because the Chaddy is :censored:, as this vote seems to show people wouldn't frequent it even if beer was available
ChaddySmoker
I feel that if the Chaddy had been closed and we all moved into the RRE There would be a lot more uproar on here! That proves that all the moaners sit in the Chaddy and surprisingly not in the Main Stand, as was previously believed.
24hoursfromtulsehill
I'm not a fan of booze in hot drinks. Eau de vie might do okay in Bovril, but it's like with the hot chocolate options. The heat kills the booze.

rudemedic
The club can put this research into practice now http://mobile.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/20140318-alcohol-in-chaddy-end-1429197.aspx?pd=635307552000000000

That proves that all the moaners sit in the Chaddy and surprisingly not in the Main Stand, as was previously believed. Nail on the head. I might miss this one and go to the RRE trial game, against Brentford, instead. The cold, dull silence interspersed by the same loud two or three shout-moaners - revelling in it as an excellent in-form Crawley side pass us off the park while all you can hear is their 12 fans whistling from an empty stand - combined with even smellier farts, given a new lease of life from the beer on sale....wow. See you Saturday.
