yarddog73
6 players from one tam, flaming hell. I know it is very specifically spot fixing, but surely with 6 players from the same team, match fixing is but a slither away. Will be interesting if more of that later pending spot fixing being processed, or whether no case to answer re match fixing as part of this investigation. IF found guilty should throw the book at them, dont mind Preston as a club but those players are a disgrace to the game, would think they have a pretty strong case against them and the club by playing them are not helping there cause. Burying their head in the sand.
leeslover
Piece of piss to throw a game if half the team are in on it. Also could make a killing on yellow cards

pukka
David Buchanan. He went to our school. He used to be in our sports studies class though as he was with bury at the time. I know people who know him well. Edited April 4, 2014 by pukka

Burying their head in the sand.On PNE fans forum they were split into 2 groups 1. Get all these so called cheats out of the game 2. Innocent until proven guilty-if we do not select them we are pre-judging the matter Up until about 11pm last night seems to be when 1) ceased and 2) became prevalent, in some instances using the same usernames. We would be just the same!

pukka
No, my claim to fame is being on Take it like a fan when we played Huddersfield away. Won £100. Should have double or quit as I knew the next one.
c.hill12
Latics the only ones to sack? And someone said earlier in the thread about people being innocent until proven guilty? That is the case as far as the criminal side of things go, but as far as employment law goes, you can be sacked based on probability. So if an employer can prove the employee is probably guilty (as in the video that was released from the sun) they can sack.

palmer1
Ha ha what I stated was fact in regard that he was accused and it went to court My point was there was a couple of contributing factors which culminated in the cancellation of his contract. oafcforever
Yeh Buchanan is ex Tranmere, as is Welsh and quite a few of the original players arrested....allegedly!!!
slystallone
Hmmm. The original arrests had a distinct Tranmere bias to them; and now with these ones into the mix having certain links with that club too. Didnt Sam Sodje say he had a complete team he had influence over in that undercover sting video?

Dave_Og
We seem to be in danger of taking the moral high ground here. Not really in a position to do so.

Thank :censored: for that, endemic spot fixing would be a bitter pill to swallow.
