oafc-latics
Great news. Him and Wilson at the back were most of the reason we went 10 unbeaten. Keep Kusunga fit and pushing them, and we might concede a few less.

Gaz_Oafc
Didn't realise he was 32, thought he was 35/36. Good news this, I had my doubts at first but he's proved to be a solid defender and very good organiser of the back 4.

Bristolatic
Excellent news. As many have said, his understanding with Wilson was one of the main reasons we had such a solid end to the season. It's a shame he'll miss the opening game, but I would expect him to come straight back in the for the second one. You can thank Fred Barber for his sending off; trust me, the first booking was good ol' Mr Barber being a dictatorial knob.

pukka
Adam Clogwood... Clogwood or not, it worked with him and Wilson. The best players don't always make the best team. Pleased he is staying. Edited May 19, 2014 by pukka
slystallone
Decent signing again, based on his pretty solid displays towards the end of the season. No frills, minimal "footballing" ability, but does the ugly stuff well and seems to be the type of character you want to have in your dressing room. The talk from some re: the 'New Gregan' is balls - Gregan was proper footballer; who just also happened to be an absolute beast. Lockwood is such a poor player; but he's organised & marshalled the defence well and for all his obvious lack of ability on the ball and his lack of pace; he actually wasn't exposed too many times. Between him, Wilson and Kusunga; CB looks a relatively strong area.

Had he not been signed from Guiseley (technically) would this latest lazy Latics myth that he can't play ever have been dreamt up? leeslover
He's a better footballer than Big John ever was.
UpTheLatics
Top news. I am not looking for a central defender blessed with technical brilliance. Steady, composed and experienced. A Godsend.
