yarddog73
Whats happened to the lad ? Watched him bang in a first half hatrick for the reserves went of complaining of a tight hamstring but he hadnt pulled it, not in matchday squad and never gets a mention anymore, surely should be getting in the matchday squad or has he gone down with another injury ? What ive seen ive been impressed just dont understand his lack of involvement.

Jack Wight
Still not First XI quality yet I'd say, though I've not seen a lot of him. Should see more of him next season I think

Should see more of him next season I think Id have him ahead of charlie who cant seem to buy a goal at the moment. Shame he is out would of been nice to see him given some game time before the end of the season.
deyres42
Maybe not a massive shock that he's been picking up injuries, huge leap to make. Think too much can be made of the importance of pre-season, certainly applies to this lad though.

Won't he have had one at Stinkport (who's fans rave about him by the way).Turner's natural physiology will make him more injury prone anyway, factor in the absence of both a full pre-season;a full-time training schedule; and his age (probably still developing a little bit) and it makes him even more injury prone. A full and proper pre-season is going to be important, as will potentially getting him games elsewhere on loan if he isn't making the bench or only getting a few minutes here and there. Diego_Sideburns
Out for four weeks with a hip flexor problem. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-features/10/oldham-athletic-news/87095/latics-wait-on-lockwood
Markspark92
Seems to have a lot of injury problems this lad, worrying signs at his age
blueatheart
He's only taken the step up to professional football over the last six months. See how changing from training three times a week to training twice a day takes it out on you.

I'd never even heard of it before then but it's :censored:ing painful and impossible to run with.

blueatheart
Twice a what now?! Never...? See LJ's interviews on latics player at the start of pre-season. They have hired rooms at a local hotel so the lads can have a sleep before a second session in the afternoon.

As older generations say, modern day footballers don't know they're born.

jorvik_latic
Did we learn :censored:ing nothing from Penney!? Jesus. Penney didn't actually do this. Barcelona and other Spanish teams, however, do. If done correctly, I don't see a problem with it.
Frankly Mr Shankly
Ace name for a band is Hip Flexor. I'm thinking a sorta Nu Rave outfit, with a lead singer that looks like Serge from Kasabian.
rudemedic
I demand to know precisely which hip flexor(s) has been affected. The hip flexor muscles are some of the best named muscles in the body. Either that or the subs desk at the Oldham Chron needs to learn how to spell Psoas major.

He did mate, I had to watch it painfully unfold as we lost more and more to injury!
