KusungaIsGod
If that's where they've got those links from then that's pretty poor. Normally the Chron makes a point of dispelling those sort of rumours so I'm hoping they've done some digging and there's a bit of truth to it, rather than them just regurgitating some twitter kid's wet dream. mhmmmm
BP1960
wasnt there talk of a midfield three Formations work in 'trends' until they are found out, the latest being 3 centre backs - which actually mighty suit the Latics.

jburbri
I didn't believe it when I read it,but thought I'd put it on just for opinion of other latics fans.
PlayItLivo
arent you a bundle of joyHe's right though. That website has taken all the fun and anticipation out of rumours and transfer speculation. The tabloids are hardly a beacon of truth and knowledge but at least their was a small amount of credibility that it might be true, same for the rarely wrong, their used to be reasonable doubt. And on the basis that it might be true it led to some good discussions, as well as some urban legends being born (Yantorno, Berger, etc) This rumours website might as well report "Football Manager" transfers as it's all fantasy news. It shouldn't be given an ounce of credence, it should automatically assumed to be bull:censored:. It shouldn't be encouraged. That rumours website is basically a proxy between trolls and message boards. Trolls no longer have to stick their credibility on the line when making bullshït up, they can just post it on the rumours site and link to it as if they stumbled upon it. The result is an over abundance of complete bull:censored: rumours drowning out the discussions of ones that might actually be true. Meh. That site is best taken with a pinch of salt, we usually find Latics signings come completely out of the blue - with the probability most fans would never have guessed them. BP1960
2 goals in 49 league games one of which was on his debut !!! As a matter of interest I was looking at Kevin Keegan's goal scoring record at Scunthorpe, 124 appearances 14 goals, when moved to higher clubs the ratio on average was a goal every 2 games. It could be Gros hasn't been playing as an out and out striker, look what happened to young Philliskirk. Dont forget Lambert played in midfield for a fair chunk of his early career which I think includes his time at County.

Latics_Fanatic
If anyone believes the :censored: on that rumours website... Oldham Athletic are set to invest some of the cash from the recent renaming of Boundary Park on a salary package to tempt Derby's out-of-favour Connor Sammon (beating aside Sheffield United's much-publicised interest) and New England Revolution's experienced midfield man Andy Dorman, although it's unclear whether they'd be willing to release him mid-season. Sammon would be a good signing, but i'm calling bull:censored:.
