WIZZO83
Can anyone tell me what has gone on with this lad? He moves to Leicester on loan, contract has now expired and he is under 24 Did we Offer him a new contract to enable oafc to get compensation? Or are we happy for him to leave on a free to "possibly" a club in the premier league. Don't understand why nothing has ever been mentioned to why we let him go. PlayItLivo
I wouldn't lose sleep over our 3rd choice, reserve goalkeeper.
WIZZO83
Doesn't every penny count? Why did a club heading to the premier league take him if he is crap.
Latics_Fanatic
I suspect we'll have offered him a deal in order to gain compensation, but 99% only for that reason.
jimsleftfoot
If under EPP, fees would be fixed anyway and would depend on his progression.
opinions4u
Doesn't every penny count? Yes. And one thing I will credit Corney with on dealings like this is that he won't be pissing easy money away if it's there to be had.
Crusoe
The silence from the club is a bit odd. He's either released, in which case why not say; signing a new deal, in which case why not say; or being invited back for pre-season to test him out (like Rodgers) - in which case why not say? Forte_Baby
He was being looked at by other clubs a few season back injured his ligaments and still played a trial game for Everton at one point.
OnchanJules
On trial at Bury according to Bury Times, played in friendly last week

Gaz_Oafc
Only a 6month contract too. Hardly the sort of deal you want to offer the next big goalkeeping prospect.
slystallone
Yeah, strange one. Billed as a real prospect, trails at Everton, then......released and 6month deal at Accg Stanley. Ah well...
super_blue
I would be happy to get 50% of any future transfers just in case We'll get nothing as we released him...this is why, not good enough!
oafc_lover
We'll get nothing as we released him...this is why, not good enough! It does make you wonder why Leicester loaned him. A very funny how'd you do! Maybe just to have a closer look at him?
unsworthlatic
A six month deal offered by Accrington Stanley, unlikely to be number one if they have only offered a short deal like that! Be released in six months time and end up somewhere like Hyde or Mossley. Never really been impressed when I've seen him play or when I've played against him so I'm not unduly worried about missing out on a selling clause
Roger Ritchie
Saved a penalty yesterday.
