the_mighty_bosh
Corney says on LP that this deal takes us away from being one of the small clubs in the league and puts us in with the bigger clubs in the league. Is it really on that kind of scale?

Diego_Sideburns
I'm show I read it was a seven figure sum Edit men has it approaching if http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/oldham-boundary-park-renamed-sports-7030655 "The move may also see Alan Pardew’s Magpies head to League One Latics for a pre-season friendly and could no doubt open the door for a relationship between the clubs that may see some of the Toon’s younger players lent out to gain valuable experience." SavageTheBeast
could that be a hint at a bigger budget? In what context does this mean budget commercially very ambiguous statement. If a bigger budget will we see ourselves challenging this year

beag_teeets
What else had been said in corneys interview? All season ticket holders are going to be forced to get a City and United tattoo on their foreheads and HAVE to refer to "Sportsdirect.com Park" at least 3 times a day. If anyone says "Home, Boundary Park, going to Latics" or anything else their family will be rounded up and shot.

I heard that this will only apply to those who bought their season tickets at the reduced rate.

oafc-latics
Obviously the money is important, but surely they could have come up with a better variation on the name? The '.com' makes it tacky imo. 'The Sports Direct Stadium/Park'? 'Sports Direct Park'? Could be worse, too, Tranmere have Home Bargains as sponsors. Dave_Og
I don't want them selling jam in there, that would be too much. I'd be OK with fudge; always getthat on good gift shops.
oafc1012
the '.com' at the end is clever on SportsDirects part if you think about it....... every time its typed on social media it is a link to their website
