Sayful2001
Just saw Tomasz Kuszczak parking up at boundary park Didnt think we were after a new number 1 keeper????
unsworthlatic
Guess he's not still at brighton then? As much as I like Rachubka Kuszczak is a very good goalkeeper

BP1960
Is this an April Fool? He is a free agent so will be looking for a club.
oafc_lover
Would be a very good signing. More than likely still has property in Manchester/Cheshire so it's possible. I like Rachubka but in an ideal world I think most will agree he's good backup. Not a keeper I'd have as number 1 in a promotion push. deyres42
He's after one of them snazzy away shirts, hope they've got his size in at the club shop.

Sayful2001
If you wait outside the ground players carpark nearby the brand spanking new white Mercedes you can ask him yourself. Lol

WIZZO83
This would be very good. PR was poor on Tues flapping at every cross. Don't believe he laid a single hand on any of boros crosses
bigfatjoe1
Would be a great signing. Any team that's serious about promotion needs three keepers.
opinions4u
Would prefer a number 9.

Stevie_J
Would prefer a number 9. Yep. Similar to the Llera situation, Kuszczak would be an improvement on what we have already but we are crying out to strengthen up front. Given that the budget will only stretch so far, this needs to be the priority.
WIZZO83
There were occasions on Tuesday where I was expecting to hear ' bloody hell Oxley come off your line!' hahahahaha! I was stunned, for me that was the huge difference between Oxley and PR last season, PR relieved pressure by taking crosses. PR had a very bad spell at Leeds where he dropped 4 or 5 crosses in the first half and the oppo scored 3, he was subbed off in the game, hope that form hasn't return. Any strong defence have to have a strong keeper!!

oafc_lover
Would prefer a number 9. We have goals in us already as proved in all our pre season games and at Colchester. What we don't have is a keeper that we can say is probably the best in the league.
nzlatic
Agree, there's been nothing to suggest that the management think the same though. In his LP interview he said he was still on the lookout for a number 9 and would bring one in quality/budget allowing. But I wouldn't have thought there was much left at all in the budget so would seem strange to bring in a new keeper when it wasn't really an obvious position that needed strengthening. Especially one that would be on decent wages, if true.
Alec1954
But our current goalie lost us the game at Colchester. His attempt to save the 2nd was pathetic.
ceskylatic
I'd be somewhat surprised if we brought in a new keeper as first choice, considering Rachubka signed a new contract on the proviso that he'd be the number one this season. I'd be very disappointed if this signing is doable and Johnson decided not to so as not to upset Rachubka. We'd have the best keeper in League One. 4froale
If this went through then I wouldn't be surprised to see rachubka leave, took a hell of a long time to sign the deal put in front of him and wasn't there a mention of offers in America?
