vendman
Look on the bright side..got enough midfielders now to take over stewarding and serving the pies !
JohnnyPimp
As with any loan for a (relatively) young player, the parent club will want him to play and why would latics waste a wage on someone to warm a bench? Jones and Captain Kelly will have cost too much. Winny on the bench at best. I doubt we're being strong-armed by the mighty Rovrum and Tidser will be here to fight for a place that he wouldn't have a chance of down there. Funny old game though isn't it? This time last year, LJ and Evans were trading insults on the touchline.
slystallone
On the face of it, this seems a real waste of a loan. It reslly does. Do we need another midfielder? Kelly Jones Winchester Dieng Mellor Noble Dayton Forte (who i know is a striker, but he's being played as a midfielder) I hope he's better than what we have... dec666
I have been a massive advocate for playing Winchester in the middle, but he's playing so well coming in off the right. Why change it.
Lukers1
Noble off, Dieong probably not ready for 1st team action, mellor a liability due to his unfortunate difficulties to run. Not a bad signing when you look at how poor some of our midfielders are.
deyres42
Looking at Sly's list, I'd say this is a much needed addition.

If we are going with a 4-3-2-1 style of play then he's needed. You can shift Forte and Dayton off that list as options for the 2. You can argue reasonably that Dieng is a defender, albeit he showed pre-season that he could do a job in the middle. That leaves: Kelly - yet to be the player we are expected to believe he is. Jones - looks ok. Winchester - the new Messi, but he's still young and form may lapse. Mellor - his best games came at left back (as did his worst). Noble - who looked clueless for the few seconds I paid him any attention. One injury to the first choice three and we are probably weakened severely. So Tidser does seem to be a logical signing. Assuming he's any good. I've no idea if he is or not!
BP1960
Tidser - a midfielder who actually gets in the box;
slystallone
I've made my mind up - if he can't beat Dean Brill, he's clearly useless #Tidserout (I'm still not convinced this was a needed signing; in terms of numbers; but as I've said - he might turn out to be a better option than what we already have)
