beag_teeets
I've voted no, haven't his knees gone? I'd rather have a younger unproven player with more of a resale value.
welshgaz
empahtic yes from me. Can play the lone striker role too.

palmer1
We have been crying out for someone who can hold the ball and knows where the net is. I don't like what he did to us. But even if he scores 10 15 goals a season for us doesn't mean I have to like him. Could be a good move for us.
Gaz_Oafc
Exactly what we need. And with the pace of forte and Poleon to skip past defenders and put the crosses in, he'll score for fun.
4froale
ive always said no, but without a striker coming in I can see us going down, so on that basis, yes (although it pains me to say it)

blueatheart
No. And it isn't because of how he left. 15 goals in 87 appearances in three seasons for Sheff United.
astottie
I am obviously missing something here (it's been said before) What Porter rumour?
Dave_Og
Am I the only person who has never been that bothered by how Porter left? Nope. Why anyone criticises any player for legitimately making the most of a short career eludes me completely. If you want loyalty buy a dog. Zorrro
I'm pretty sure I was annoyed when Porter left, but not at him. I very much doubt the thought running through his head was, "Here we go, this is my chance to :censored: these pricks over." Live and let live. Gaz_Oafc
I am obviously missing something here (it's been said before) What Porter rumour? A poster on here (Lee Sinnott?) Was sat outside the club last night. Lee Johnson came out and had a photo ect. And whilst chatting asked what they thought about bringing an unnamed player in on loan. The fan was sworn to secrecy but has said that he's an ex player who is decent but now public enemy number one(or something along those lines). youngen
Yes, but he would become an instant boo boy.

slystallone
Recent 'public enemy number 1's' Dean Furman Jack Grealish Lee Hughes Chris Porter feel free to add others in...
2uptop
It'll be Furman. We clearly don't have enough central midfielders.
laticdickovarmy
I will never understand the Furman hate. He was offered a chance to win promotion and then get a shot at the championship that he did. He was out of the side a bit to Wes when he left and wasn't 1st choice despite being captain. Just more on, after all we beat his lot Saturday Personally I wouldn't want Porter back but that is because of his lack of goals in recent times nothing else. If he came back scored 20 and got us in the play-offs people would forget what happened. Us football fans are a thickle bunch
