Simoncorneyisgod
Rumours on twitter that LJ along with his dad have been interviewed for the Orient job
palmer1
Their manager only resigned, what? 3 days ago and they have approached, been given permission and interviewd 2 managers of other league 1 clubs?
Latics_Fanatic
Sounds very far-fetched. Although Blackpool have already proved this season that interviewing for a new manager whilst the old one remains in place happens.
LaticsPete
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank is odds on with at least one bookies and regarded by orient fans on twitter as favourite Search #lofc
HarryBosch
Probably a load of bollocks but, if he goes, Richard Money would have this side scoring at will

Simoncorneyisgod
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank is odds on with at least one bookies and regarded by orient fans on twitter as favourite Search #lofc Takes about £25 in bets to make someone favourite these days in managers markets lol Only reporting what I've read......I'm sure it is bollocks and I'd like to think he is the type of guy that will remember who gave him his first opportunity and has a job to finish! MAC0AFC
surely there's many of names before johnson... keith hill being one!
another fan
I sincerely hope that LJ is here for the long haul but am surprised (only joking) that his waves to the fans at the end were not seen by anyone as his farewells EMPHASIS ON THE FACT THAT I POST THIS TONGUE IN CHEEK
Blue_Guru
Nah LJ wouldn't leave a warm nest for Orient...IMO he will only leave when it is a significant jump up in challenge I.e a good championship side...unless Bristol City come knocking...But maybe he will take some advice from his dad on that one...He has the power to make a lot of decisions at Oldham and implement his philosophies due to a very good relationship with Corney...he strikes me as the character that will repay the trust put in him to start his managerial career by Corney. oafc-latics
Orient surely can't be offering enough of a pay rise for Johnson to consider leaving his safe job and good relationship with Corney, for an unstable job under a chairman who's just forced arguably the best manager in the league out. Frankly Mr Shankly
If he does it'll be the first Latics manager in eons that hasn't ultimately been sacked.

Forte_Baby
That's not even funny... Was it suppose to be funny? Did he not say the other he wants to go into coaching/management? Corney already took a gamble on a young manager? Besides reckon next Orient manager will be Paulo Di Canio

HarryBosch
He seems the type of player who would become a manager but Lockwood seems quite shy when he's interviewed. LJ won't be going to Orient but if he doesn't get us up this season but has us there or there abouts he might well go. Richard Money would be tailor made for us in that eventuality. Monty Burns
Since Dowie Actually, since Royle. Corney offered Royle a deal to stay on as manager but Royle wouldn't do it with the transfer kitty offered. Royle offered to work for free and Corney match the savings and use it as a kitty, Corney said no so Royle said no.

oafc-latics
Based on what? Their owner's just got rid of one of the longest-serving managers in the country, and who was 45 minutes from getting them promoted last season.
