youngen
Their owner's just got rid of one of the longest-serving managers in the country, and who was 45 minutes from getting them promoted last season. Didnt he leave to manage Cardiff?
the_mighty_bosh
He was effectively forced out by the new owner. I wouldn't be surprised if the new manager doesn't see out the season.
oafc-latics
Didnt he leave to manage Cardiff? After being told he had one game to save his job, and then the club didn't let him talk to Cardiff.
Latics_Fanatic
Didnt he leave to manage Cardiff? He's currently an "advisor to Cardiff" until he can sort out his contract situation. Basically he's managing from behind the scenes.
al_bro
Doesn't mean it will happen to the next bloke. Slade has spent the owners money and the owner thinks the team should be winning more games and playing better. Whoever takes over will have the same problem with an owner who has no patience. Slade won't last at Cardiff, but he will get a nice payoff. LJ as a rookie, is far better off at OAFC with an owner who has more patience and trust than most. His father however should take it. He is under pressure at Yeovil, and has plenty of success behind him to enable him to easily get another job after being sacked with a nice payoff from Orient.
