Oh Heck C-Beck
Are we likely to have any games on TV this year? Or have we just been lucky in recent seasons? I know the cup games are a bit of a bonus depending on who we are drawn against, but I was wondering if Sky are required to show at least 1 league game a season for each club? I am pretty sure games against Preston and Tranmere have been on in recent years. Still hoping to watch at least 1 game this season while not in the country. Maybe have to keep my fingers crossed for the play offs.
Monty Burns
If we are challenging we will be on. Also the LDV vans later games are usually on too.
rudemedic
If our home league game against Dale goes ahead as currently scheduled I think there is a very good chance that game will be on Sky as it's FA cup 3rd round weekend and Sky will put a football league game on against the FA cup games. Even if it is played at a different date then if both ourselves and Dale are challenging then there is still a possibility it will be shown. rudemedic
Who wants to watch Oldham?! According to the viewing figures 700,000 people watched us get knocked out of the JPT against Chesterfield. Nearly 7 million watched beat Liverpool and about 6 million watched us draw with Everton. Scapegoat
The JPT result is surprising - didn't think it would be that high. I guess there are some people that will watch whatever game is on. Impressive fixtures for the BBC games - and we delivered entertaining games so if guess that many watched the whole thing.

Hands on
If Western beat Donny then I think our round 2 game will either be on TV or featured on the Sunday "Final Score".

Latics_Fanatic
Colchester v Peterborough sounds like the :censored:test game ever. Although, most others probably think that of Oldham v Doncaster.

Stevie_J
Col v P'boro is an odd one. It's a shocker. The media love the spawn of Ferguson, though.

the_mighty_bosh
I reckon we'd have stood a better chance if Weston and Donny had played their match and it was certain of who we were playing. The Colchester Vs Posh choice shows just how bad the draw was.
Fyldelatic
No non-league at home hosting a league team, that's why. As there are no new teams entering the competition and many non-leaguers have been eliminated in the first round, this is what often happens. LaticsChris
Walsall v Sheff Utd. I think that may have been what BP1960 was watching when Peter Beagrie referred to us & Preston as favourites. I can't imagine Beagrie getting a spot on Newsnight to discuss the JPT.

Frankly Mr Shankly
According to the viewing figures 700,000 people watched us get knocked out of the JPT against Chesterfield. Apart from the - stab in the dark here - 20,000 or so lapsed Oldham or Chesterfield fans that's a huge 680,000 sad twats with a gulf of emptiness in their lives. There's no way on earth I'd sit through two lower league sides playing a regional final in the Paint Pot Cup if my team wasn't in it. Simpo
Every League One game scheduled for last day of the season has been moved to 12.15 on Sunday, with two crucial games to be shown live. We've got Peterborough at home.
