SavageTheBeast
One thing what really pisses me off about Kusunga he looks like hes getting a run of games abd form then he goes off to Angola must be frustrating for Johnson

Would be better than him having to step in against Sheff Utd or Rochdale.

Yes fair point and your probably right, Dieng seems the obvious one to step in, its difficult to see how Lockwood is going to get match fit with no reserve team this season. deyres42
Go on........? You think he fits in with the new, slicker style of football we've been playing in his absence? I don't.
b0ndl1ne
Reading the chron, LJ talk about going to a back 3 when his 4 centre halves are fit. Lockwood is one of them but Dieng isn't. That tells me all I need to know about Dieng
JA11K
You think he fits in with the new, slicker style of football we've been playing in his absence? I don't. People have brought this up a lot about Lockwood, but I think he doesn't get enough credit for his ability on the ball. He played some lovely passes last season that led to goals, and with Kelly dropping deeper to collect the ball off the two centre-halves his job will be made even easier. For me, he's a better defender than both Dieng and Kusunga and is a good passer; when match fit and with no Elokobi, should be an easy decision for LJ. He's far from awful with ball at feet, whether or not he'd want to be pegging it out wide to receive it from the keeper every time could be a different matter. leeslover
Big George isn't exactly Bobby Moore either with the ball at his feet.
Diego_Sideburns
Wilson is one yellow card away from a one match suspension.
sjk2008
Hopefully he won't be called into any incidents which may lead to a yellow as we could do with him for Sheffield United and Rochdale. Do we play Preston in between those or before Sheffield United because he could always pick up an intentional yellow and miss the less important game... brierleys555
should we go 2 or 3 up then ideal to put lockwood on to help with match fitness. we have a settled formation. I would hate that to change by 3 at the back.

TheBigDog
Dieng is exactly that - a midfielder. He will benefit greatly from his experience playing in the back four and was getting better the more games he played. I can see a decent defensive midfielder in him. MAC0AFC
I can see a really decent player in him, he'll be here next season probably in the first XI with our likely turnover of players, unless we make our way into the championship!
