One-Size
I'd forgotten how awful that kit was. And the pitch!
perfectOzblue
Matty Rush, what a shame that was Yeah, on his day at that level he was a cut above. Bad luck with injuries. But as far wingers we've had go, I'd put him closer to Ricky Holden than Joe Colbeck.
stargazer
If I remember correctly , Ritchie & Rush teamed up like a dream in this game , tearing Swindon to pieces.
jsslatic
Even as an eight year old I remember Rush being a god amongst men that afternoon.
Lee Sinnott
I've been trying to find that game for years! There was footage from the same season on YouTube of our win at home to Oxford, when Gunnar signed off with a goal...

Frankly Mr Shankly
If I remember correctly , Ritchie & Rush teamed up like a dream in this game , tearing Swindon to pieces. Because of this match I giddily volunteered to drive a car full of mates down to Ipswich the week after. My dads car that is, while he was away skiing unaware I was using his car to drive 600 miles before picking him up at my grandads that night. After working a nightshift beforehand. I was fuelled by any kind of stimulating drugs you can think of, legal and illegal. :censored: me, the bollocking I got the next day after a 0-4 dry humping. That post-Swindon walking-on-air feeling lasted about as long as a it took that smoke bomb to go off at Spotland. Matty Rush: :censored:. Chris Richard
It was the first home shirt I bought with my own hard earned spends from working for Pittense at my Dad's garden centre! I still wear it and hasn't fallen apart like more recent efforts! Edited December 11, 2014 by Chris Richard
