astottie
Jesse Lingard from the pride of all European possibly going out on loan..pulled out of u21s game tonight. Coming back from injury. Would he drop down to our level? Could he play alongside HarryKane? Probably not as he's previously been on loan at Birmingham and Brighton. And Jordan Slew has left Blackburn. It was Dickov that signed him wasn't it not LJ. Lingard going to Derby apparently, so yes,out of our league.

GlossopLatic
He's a tricky winger with some pace been getting rave reviews at Dagenham this season A tricky winger with pace you say? Our diamond formation doesn't accommodate wingers but a tricky quick player who can run at people would be perfect at the head of the diamond as he could turn and run at the defence. Or we could change the formation and incorporate wide men. Whatever it's another option anyway.

shefflatic
How can we afford a fee? By doing, as David Pleat has just said, buying/expending funds now knowing you have assets in your team you can sell i.e. £100k now, we sell Wilson in June for double which covers the outlay. As things stand if this goes through we have YET AGAIN been backed by Corney - if we have to sell in June to recover the cost (unless promoted!) then that's fair business logic, no complaints from me We can't have our cake and eat it on crowds of 3k, it's just nice to finally have a window in Jan when we are doing ok and can go again with the same group +

JoshOWTB
Only 6 months left on his contract, won't be a massive fee. Probably a fair few add ons.

chris_oafc
Peterborough were after him this time last year and he turned them down.... The 23-year-old former Arsenal trainee, who has scored 12 goals in 28 appearances this season, was given permission to speak to Posh on Sunday. A club statement said Murphy "does not wish to make such a move at this time".
HarryBosch
He'll fit right in with that goalscoring record. 14 in 40? Good age, good pedigree, maybe coming into his prime........? I've got a good feeling about this....

shefflatic
with the right service anything is possible we see many a striker do nowt at a few clubs and then it just clicks and suddenly they are a good striker - even Forte is a good example - 5-6 goals a season everywhere else then rocks up here and it happens for him. Murphy according to stats is 6ft, decent age, scored a few goals this season O'Grady made a similar move to us, did nothing, then look what happened Let's support him anyway - one thing for sure we've now got a really great set of options up top Well done to all Edited February 2, 2015 by shefflatic
