Diego_Sideburns
The Strawberry Gardens pub about 5 mins walk from the ground. Really friendly with loads of real ale. Apparently he owns and runs it! Overhead the bloke behind me at the match say: "Went in the Strawberry Gardens pub - it's owned by Bobby Ball." Rock on Syd! Perhaps the stand behind the other stand is for those who can't bear to watch penalty shoot-outs.

mcgoo_84
Is it just me who thought we were actually pretty poor in the 1st half? Looked half arsed, not really up for it & lacking any quality at all. 2nd half we were a completely different team, came out really fired up, all over them & were superb. Thought Rachubka & Kelly were top drawer today. That clean sheet will do us the world of good! Edited January 17, 2015 by mcgoo_84
jsslatic
First half we were on top but did sod all for it. Looked devoid of ideas in the final third. Second half came out flying. Pre-slump stuff, Philliskirk will be disappointed not to have put at least one chance away. Front two though cannot be the future if we want to sustain a push. Two beautiful goals, clean sheet, cracking atmosphere, shouldn't grumble.
jsslatic
And well done to the referee for his interpretation of the advantage rule. A Jones FK outside the box is definitely more likely to bring about a goalscoring opportunity than Poleon having possession in the box at the moment... whitey1980
Didn't feel we were poor, but we had a lot of the ball without penetration. Equally, they created the better openings despite being second best throughout. The key to the game was scoring when we were on top which we haven't done enough recently and the confidence flowed from that point. Cracking win that reinvigorates our season. As LJ said in his interview , "proud of my club" - after the last couple of weeks its great to say and feel that!!
NewBlue
Those Tics in the exec boxes deserve a mention. All fans do really. Even the seated fans were noisy. Atmosphere was brilliant. Funniest chant goes to 'If Poleon scores we're in the sea'. Felt for the lad - I wouldn't sing it - and hoped he didn't hear it properly, but it was hilarious. Let's have safe standing introduced.
