Chris Richard
Can see why he's asked to leave. Dropped IMHO harshly certainly on two occasions this year when we allegedly had some one better in. Best shot stopper we have had for a while. Good luck Chubs where ever you end up. ChaddySmoker
And it looks like mellor is going to halifax we are 3 injuries away from nightmares I think the FA should go back to having 1 substitute-problem solved. Thanks Chubs anyway
HarryBosch
Good luck to him. We now own no senior keeper - good news for the agent of the one who we beg to join in the summer.

longtimeblue
He was great last season and I was happy we'd got him on another year's deal. In truth though, he's not been the same keeper this year. Too many 'could he have done better moments'. He's been playing out of necessity for a couple of months though now and if Paddy Kenny hadn't have been worse, he probably wouldn't have played again. A long way off being the worst but if Kean's debut was a fair reflection, we've definitely improved. Imagine we pushed the boat out to keep him last year. midnite315
Jake Kean will be joining Oldham in the summer as this move was supposed to be permanent but for some money issues at B*****d rovers that put a block on it, would of liked chubs to stay as a coach and push Joel Coleman and Jake on with his experience. Chubs was a good league one keeper and not mediocre have people forgot that he has done more good for this club than paddy kenny did in his games

opinions4u
The manager is right to try and improve in this position. Good luck elsewhere Chubs. You were a big part of keeping us up last season.

GlossopLatic
Is this because we believe Coleman is ready to step up if required?
Stagger Lee
How thin is the squad now? LJ's shifted a lot of wages this month, must be some serious cost cutting to avoid sales. Out: Kenny, Jabo, Tidser, Dayton, Rachubka, Johnson In: Brown, Mellis, Kean. To my mind we now have 2 GKs, and 18 senior outfield players (inc Mellor, Locky, Turner who have barely played) Add Bove and Truelove to Colwyn Bay to the list - we have room to bring in a couple of loaners surely
