disjointed
FIFY. That should please everyone. Unless some bugger wants green or yellow. What about the nice pink kit we had recently, just saying.
Bristolatic
What about the nice pink kit we had recently, just saying.Did you really have to do that? Oh wait, I've got one of those. *Hides in corner ashamed*
Tommy_Fent
I agree that whatever colour the club decides to go back to for old times sake it'll never be the same thing. I personally quite like the idea of an All-White away kit, but I suppose anything is better than the last two away kits we've had
BLUMAX
Fair enough, but don't you think the club needs a kit which everyone can identify with instead of copying common designs? It was actually that kit which drew me to the club as a kid back in the late 1950s, I thought the kit was different to any others (well maybe apart from Ajax's red) and I had a found team with some uniqueness. The Latics 1962 kit is mentioned here as one of the classic designs; Quote:"this remains the definitive Oldham kit". http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Articles/Classics.htm What about the Carlisle 74 one but with Tangerine instead of Red separating the white/blue? oafc1955
There was bugger all else to do on Saturday afternoons in those days and no live footy on the black and white telly.
disjointed
There was bugger all else to do on Saturday afternoons in those days and no live footy on the black and white telly. Even in the 70's the only football fix was to go and watch a live game, as MOTD only showed 1 main game highlights and 2 other brief highlights. leesstlad
I must go to specsavers I will call the home for the bewildered when I can remember where I live so they can carry me off being a Latics fan for 62 years may count in my defence
leeslover
I don't really care what kit we wear. Not just me who scratches his head a couple of times a year when Oldhams men collectively go all Gok Wan then.
laticsrblue
We are the boys in Tangerine electric orange, blue and white FIFY From memory the kit was a much brighter orange than Blackpool's tangerine, which is as the name suggests tangerine and not orange. Simpo
How about one game each season in which we wear a classic kit? Have old school music playing, invite players from that era, promote it heavily? Good little money spinner potentially. sjk2008
If I had my own way, we'd be playing in all blue with white trim at home, and all white with blue trim away.
