LightDN123
Not a chance, he does not come across as the sort of character who would want to leave when the team he has built is sitting 6th in the league and things are beginning to look positive for the club. I believe press has got him and his dad mixed up
ghostofcecere
No science in this just a gut feeling, but I would have thought LJ would be looking towards the championship for his next move rather than another league 1 club. PlayItLivo
What are the other jobs he's been linked with while managing here? I'm sure I've come on this forum during a frenzy about him supposedly leaving before a couple of times. How many times previously has he been odds on favourite with SkyBet? deyres42
Let him go, get Paul Murray back, he did all the coaching anyway...

longtimeblue
I wouldn't lose any sleep if he went. He's doing a decent job, but it wouldn't be the end of the world (although I'd rather he stayed the season). I still think all this talk of him being offered Championship and Premier League is premature.

disjointed
It'd be a bit of a loss really. It's the first glimmer of progression we've had in like 8 years Absolutely true, also LJ is still learning his trade, would the Barnsley chairman tolerate his mistakes as Corney does. Would expect him to see this season out at least.
Chaddy_Ender
Be nice if he or the club came out in the morning to dismiss it if theres nothing to it, its another distraction we can do without.

We thought that about Jose Baxter and James Tarkowski...

Dave_Og
Whether it's true or not I have no idea but I do know that the Sky Bet market is an utter joke. With a book running at around 160% and of course no guarantee that the eventual "winner" may not even be on their list anyone who has a bet on that wants their bumps feeling unless they have inside information
palmer1
Signed a long term deal. Corney would not let him go. He is aware players can be replaced fairly easy. At this stage LJ would not be easy too replace at all. Whoever wants him would have to pay through the nose for a very promising but largely unproven manager. Few years left here yet... deyres42
If a manager wants away badly enough he will just resign, no big windfall coming from any potential exit.

Dave_Og
These markets are laughable. Further down the page you can have a bet on Eriksson being the next England manager
Latics_Fanatic
Quotes don't exactly fill me with confidence really... MENOAFC @MENOAFC 3 mins3 minutes ago Spoke to Lee Johnson earlier about Barnsley. He said It’s up to the Oldham board to decide whether or not they accept any approach. #oafc MENOAFC @MENOAFC 3 mins3 minutes ago Johnson also said though that he’s very happy at Oldham and at this stage expects to be in the dugout against Leyton Orient on Sat. #oafc

LaticsLegend
Hoping it's just creative journalism as there are no actual quotes. It doesn't look too convincing though.
