SavageTheBeast
First sentence the crowds the playing budget and the history is bigger than Oldham goes on to say he has bought into the owners idea
kowenicki
"bigger crowds, bigger club, bigger player budget... long history of being in the championship" in other words they are massive! thats his reasoning? my arse... bigger salary. I hope they get relegated and I hope we smash em at our place.

josh_latics
"The lure was too big" - what, to :censored:ing Barnsley? Behave. "He made a 100 day plan." - nice one Lee, maybe you should have been prepping for Orient, but not to worry, you've gone to a club with "great history"

NewBlue
Said he's set up a specific plan for Barnsley's next 100 days in charge. Would've preferred if he'd bothered planning his final couple of games in charge. Slimey prick. Edited February 25, 2015 by NewBlue

JoeP
Disgusted at the club, the ex manager and all that is OAFC right now. Appear unable to do anything properly. As for due diligence one dream one team bollocks. Shambles. Fans deserve better. Not the man many thought he was ultimately. Like all the :censored:ing rest in football money grabbing short term two faced bastards. Wipe that smug smile off your smarmy face.... :censored:ING HELL..... Why? Fair play to the club for signing him up on a long-term contract so we get some compo - at the time I thought it was a crazy decision giving him that contract. He did OK for us, but I actually think we need someone better. Hopefully that person is waiting in the wings. We move on.
deyres42
Geezer should have been put on gardening leave as soon as he expressed an interest in leaving.
OnchanJules
Like it where he talks about the length of contract he's signed as showing his commitment, just like the long contract he recently signed with us then !!

ShireBlue
Gutted Tommy has gone. They've broke the news on Sky Sports News and Oldham weren't mentioned once. Barnsley clearly massive.
archiecat
Obviously it appears that the only promotion Johnson is interested in is self promotion, He has gone,at least the club got a few quid and we move on. Good bye Lee,thanks for Liam Kelly,a few excellent memories, plenty of very average ones and a few totally dreadful ones. Hope you find your level with Barnsley. Oh, you have done

deyres42
I'll always remember him as the guy who couldn't get a performance from ace marksman Adam Rooney. And threw a game against his dads team. Edited February 25, 2015 by deyres42
josh_latics
Walking out of Oakwell a few weeks ago, freezing my knackers off after an insipid, awful performance, not once did I think, "Hey, I reckon they'll probably sack their manager soon and hire LJ." Football, eh.
dkay570
It's a strange one for me. I remember when Keith Hill went back to Rochdale, he gave an interview saying it was a nightmare at Barnsley because he had to go through about 5 different people when he wanted to sign someone. Not sure it's the same set up there now, but I wonder if LJ talked to him about it. Anyway, onwards and upwards. Or sideways in his case. SavageTheBeast
Spoke about big Jean said he was a good guy but didn't he say he just walked out on us to go Birmingham on trial. Said we tried to sign Ben Pearson

stargazer
I was offered a new job late last year , lots more money & great benefits......of course I took it. So why would a football manager not , they rarely manage the teams they support , it is a job .
stargazer
We had 2 managers in 24 years of stability .....I used to chuckle at the merry go round other clubs experienced .........how many managers have we had since, dozens.
