Midsblue
Will the new manager have funds to bring in their own players or have to make do with the team that Johnson built? The current team can achieve a playoff place but a little bit of excitement with another striker, a winger etc would do wonders for us rather than just crawling to a mid-table finish. If Scholes was brought in then would he be able to entice a few United youngsters at no cost to us and then the "Scholes" factor coaching our midfielders etc to play open, expansive, attacking play with chances and goals aplenty. rvlatic
This situation needs sorting out quickly - roughly a third of season to go but thats too long to 'patch up' with holden - by this time next month the season tickets for next season will be in peoples minds and if the club is still rudderless without a clear direction, people are not going to renew and the cycle will continue - less fans, less income, less wages to offer etc. The club needs to address this asap and not consider trying to 'get by'

Twisbrogan
Just heard Darren Ferguson has left PeterboroughRumours that Brian Clough also may be leaving Leeds United. The lesson here is never try to keep abreast of current affairs or sport news by picking up a newspaper off the counter of your local takeaway or kebab shop. ;) Edited March 1, 2015 by Twisbrogan

josh_latics
Irvine would be a great appointment (it's not happening, though) 40% win rates, got PNE to the Championship play-offs, was a Premier League manager a few months ago. It's the first name I've seen that I've been excited with.
