joe_lead
3 teams going down from league 1 with 50+ points must be a record
oafc-latics
Shame Notts County have gone down. Got family who support them and their fans are a good lot, just let down by :censored: manager after :censored: manager. A club with their fanbase and stadium should be looking up to the Championship. As a team though, they're pretty awful by all accounts. Hate MK Dons but glad we don't have to play them next year. Not looking forward to Claridge creaming himself over them on FLS tonight though. With the record Preston have in the play-offs we might be adding them to the northern L1 next year. I'd be impressed if that team manages to cock it up though.
jsslatic
If Swindon or Chesterfield win the playoffs we'll end up with eleven of the division from Lancashire and Yorkshire. Edited May 3, 2015 by jsslatic
jsslatic
From WSC: Preston North End fans making the trip to Wembley on May 24 for the League One play-off final have been hit by planned maintenance work that means there will be no direct trains between Preston and London that day. In response, PNE will put on extra coaches, which will delight their sponsors this season: Virgin Trains.
boysinblue
Southend vs Wycombe in the L2 final. Win win for me as I've been to neither.
Fyldelatic
Roots Hall is a dump and Adams Park is at the bottom of an industrial estate with a view of grazing cows.
the_mighty_bosh
If Swindon and Southend win the playoff finals this will surely be the worst league for South West Latics fans in history. Walsall is probably the closest away trip ffs!
Postman Matt
Have fond memories of Wycombe i won twisted darts in the social club before the game and sneaked a bottle of champers into the ground when we secured our league 1 status with a point under Dickov.... jsslatic
I'd rather it was Southend. Wycombe will always hold a special place after watching Colbeck's godlike performance in 2009. Adams Park should be left well alone now. And we always win at Roots Hall.
GlossopLatic
You have to feel abit of sympathy for Wycombe today.

manshaw
Adams park has a cracking social club, with good food. Brilliant welcome for away fans, last time I was down there. the ground is a bit small though.
GlossopLatic
As they say, play till the final whistle. Aye I know but come on we've been their at wembley with a last minute of extra time equaliser. It knocks you for 6.
RoyleArmy1994
Think its safe to say we wont be playing preston next season..
the_mighty_bosh
Swindon have played great football when I've seen them but their defending has been consistently poor and today it's been awful. Preston very professional and Beckford's hit form.

NewBlue
Will miss Preston away but Swindon will lose a lot of their best players in the summer so are probably better from our perspective for a weakened League

HarryBosch
Grayson does it again. Doubt he'll do it in the Championship though... That could be good for us 6 months from now......... Edited May 24, 2015 by HarryBosch
Latics_Fanatic
That could be good for us 6 months from now......... We can only wish, but as with goalscorers, we'd be guarunteed to be Grayson's first failure in League One.
