ghostofcecere
The return of Lee Croft for a third time has got me thinking, who else has come back to the club for a third spell? I can think of quite a few who have come back twice: Ritchie, R.Holden, Milligan, Adams, Ormondroyd to name a few but not so many who've done three. I suppose we can count Tommy Wright if we include playing and coaching days.

LaticsPete
Here's a three times a player: Thomas Butler, outside right. 1938/9 then went to Middlesboro in March 1939 1939/45 Guest player for Latics in WWII 1946/7 resigned from Boro for £500 then went to Accrington Some of us on here will have seen Johnny Bollands play for us - he's a two time player, which I didn't realise until recently. Signed from South Bank Rangers (Middlesboro ) in 1953 we sold him to Sunderland and bought him back from Bolton in 1961, he left in 1966 Edited May 25, 2015 by LaticsPete
