yarddog73
Away fans next season are going to be housed in the North Stand behind the goal. The temporary East Stand with poor facilities is not being used.
nesbitt1988
what does that hold?
NewBlue
Hopefully we fill it. Heard a few incidents about that stand being dangerously full at times last season so I expect they've received orders from the league to change. Probably not much hassle given the drop in crowds they'll experience.

SavageTheBeast
However the east stand will be used if needed. Not sure if it means for home or away fans http://mobile.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/article/season-ticket-seat-changes-2481321.aspx
yarddog73
what does that hold? Blackpools website says blocks A,B and C of the North Stand will accomodate away fans so at least 2000 with any overspill presumably housed in the East Stand. LaticsChris
Maybe not if its a Tuesday night in January. The only times I've been to Blackpool watching Latics, we're definitely due an August Bank Holiday at Bloomfield Road. 2uptop
Didn't we have two clear goals disallowed on that game aswell? We'd have been in the prem by now if we weren't cheated.

Hopefully Lancashire Police have forgotten about all the trouble last time we played them early in the season in the sunshine. It was pandemonium
Lee Sinnott
Last time we played them away in a League game (excluding playoffs) was on a Saturday on September, wasn't it...?
doggy_oafc
Hopefully Lancashire Police have forgotten about all the trouble last time we played them early in the season in the sunshine. It was pandemonium 96/97 season? When Bloomfield Road was a corrugated iron death trap, we drew 2-2 and there were fecking thousands of Tics there. Kicked off big time in the Blackpool end with loads of Latics in there, believe it got a bit tasty on the sea front afterwards as well. We always seemed to play them on a Tuesday night after that. Woof.
Monty Burns
Theres so many local teams we have to get some decent saturday games, impossible not to

I remember seeing the ball strike him that effectively ended his career at the club.

Lee Sinnott
Yeah just one game. 2-0 Reeves 2 three points boom. He had a good debut, too. Think it was Port Vale we played. A Friday night. He set up a goal for Eyres and scored one himself. Roger Palmer did strike it lucky...
sjk2008
Blackpool away as the season opener on a glorious summer's afternoon would be belting.
Dick_Valentine
Yes it wasn't that long ago we played there on an August bank holiday and I paid twice to get in to see a nil nil if I remember? Coming over the bridge singing with everyone else a copper asked if I'd been drinking? Looking up to to the blue sky I said 'it's Blacpool away and it's cracking the flags, what do you :censored:ing think officer?' At which point he confiscated my ticket and I queued up at the ticket office for a seat in the home end. Cracking piss up that and I think we're due another.
