daniel
Anyone any recommendations for drinking in birmingham, near new street train station? Some kind of sport on would be good. I arrive at 10:33 and dont get the train to bescot until 14:00, i figured birmingham would be better for drinks, walsall seems pretty crap. Just round the back of the station
4oakslatic
Try the Old Joint Stock http://www.oldjointstock.co.uk/ Loads of decent beer on tap. 5 minutes from the station Edited August 1, 2015 by 4oakslatic
opinions4u
He is the better judge of the goalkeepers. Think some of the raving over Coleman at the back end of last season was premature. Seen him in too few games to say he's ready to be number 1. He may well be a world beater, but we can't say that yet. I saw nothing that suggested he should be replaced. For good beer I can recommend the Post Office Vaults in New Street http://postofficevaults.co.uk/ and the Wellington in Bennetts Hill (backs onto the Old Joint Stock recommended above by 4oakslatic). http://www.thewellingtonrealale.co.uk/

aaronoafc
341 sold so far Can see that rising to 500 before end of the week. Then lots to pay on the day. 1k or so I reckon
aaronoafc
Bit random but does anyone know how it works with buying away tickets, Does the money for buying a ticket at latics go to Latics or is it sent to Walsall? Obv pay on the day goes to Walsall but just wondering if Latics get the money for pre sold tickets.

Usually get 5% of the ticket price, so about a quid per ticket, think it's to cover administration costs etc

Ritchierich
700 would be pretty poor given it's not that far + opening day We took 632 to Col U last season and 750 odd to Stevenage the year before.....both much longer journeys
