retiredballboy
Managers who played include George Hardwick and Joe Royle..
Wozzer
George Hardwick played too.
blueatheart
I believe Lee Croft is either the most capped England player below full cap level or the most capped England player never to receive a full cap. He had quite a youth career.
LaticsChris
Ryan Bertrand (if we're allowed loanees)

Stevie_J
... Earl Barrett (I think?) Pretty sure he's the only Latics player to have played for England (as in, whilst he was an Oldham player).
Wozzer
Jack Hacking did - 3 caps

BlueMink
Jobson made the England B team, I believe, but didn't play.

Monty Burns
Gerrard not play in some youth tournament early 90's?
pinevillawill
Paul Gerrard never played for England. U21, innit.
Latic76
Barrett played for England and had a stinker, Jobson got in a squad but never played. To my mind are he only players who have been anywhere near England full sqaud whilst a Latixs player....

Scapegoat
We've had a few U21s and B team appearances (I think that there were some of the 'pinch me' players in the B game before Italia 90) in my years but think that Barrett might have been the only one to get a full cap whilst at the club (but it was a rather pointless friendly I think). As for those that have 'played for both' then Ricketts, Lee and now Dunn are ones that spring to mind with full caps.
