yarddog73
If only the MEN were a reputable news source. They have probably read a fans twitter feed to garner that information.
mikejh45
How can the MEN say 6 weeks - best case scenario when the test results aren't out? Or should that "best case" be read as "best guess"?
aaronoafc
If it is a broken ankle we're looking at months with this... 2-3 month minimum probably. :censored:.
Corazzin19
It's going to be a huge blow however long it is. But we are paying thew wages of a lot of players so whoever replaces him needs to step up and earn their money. Really hoping for an improved performance and some more points tomorrow. They're struggling for players up top, captain porter is supposedley out
Monty Burns
How can the MEN say 6 weeks - best case scenario when the test results aren't out? Or should that "best case" be read as "best guess"? Because the injury has been diagnosed. The scan will reveal its extent.

losesome
What nobody has mentioned on here is that i thought it was a very late and awful challenge. Seen red for less and should have at least got a yellow. The fact we never even got a free kick is laughable. Their player def got away with that one !!! rudemedic
I've scored a goal with a broken ankle - ask anyone, I never stop going on about it. Like right now for example. Point being a break can be manageable, even if painful. His ability to walk off is not really indicative of much. I used the word usually for a reason. Had you been examined by a competent medical professional when you scored this goal too?
rudemedic
I also walked the time my cruciate gave up...already had a partial tear, kicked a ball, felt my knee wobble and that was that... That was my career ender You can "walk" with a busted cruciate, it just feels very unstable apparently.
leeslover
I walked all evening with a broken foot once. Felt it the next morning.

I once drove to Mount Snowdon on a Saturday & climbed it on the Sunday after having broken my ankle at 5-a-side on the Friday. And I was hungover. Alright, the ankle wasn't actually broken but it did really, really hurt.

blueatheart
Ah well, eye for an eye and that. Fleetwood's "Pondy" or Planty or something is injured after an innocuous challenge. Bet he isn't out for three months.
Blue_Guru
Will be surprised if we don't make a loan to Christmas...probably a reserve championship player...think Kelly likes his big man up front and I don't think he has faith in Murphy or Poleon as strikers
NewBlue
My sources have told me we've enquired to Tottenham about taking Harry Kane on a loan deal to January
