palmer1
Where does this move leave Gorgeous George Green? Im not sure it will affect him will it? Green is a central player so I guess it leaves him still on the bench if theres room Edited August 24, 2015 by palmer1

Zorrro
Really? A solid, league one player. Should be good if he stays. Good goal scoring record for a wide man. I'm not particularly excited though. That's why I put 'exciting'. It's not exactly gonna have thousands pouring through the gates to see him in action, but he's a good skillful winger at this level. BP1960
On the one hand this looks a good signing. On the other, I can't help but detect the whiff of Kevin Maher about him..... Or a David Eyres?
OAFCM35
Where does this move leave Gorgeous George Green? Playing the loan striker role, he'll bag a hatrick every week and flogged on to the highest bidder

singe
Or a David Eyres? I think we'd all be pleased even if he turns out half as good.
underdog
A playershare signing...? Playershare was approached tentatively if we could help if needed but I have not had it confirmed if it was a goer. Then again, I've had a bit of a hectic weekend so I might have missed the update. deyres42
I didn't realise he was only 30. Certainly sounds like the board are pushing for a more expansive brand of football to be played and are making signings accordingly.

Stagger Lee
So we loose the one big striker we had for a few months and sign a winger on loan for a month Not upset by this signing but I just don't understand it ..... apart from I suspect he was cheap which is the reason we sign anyone these days. NewBlue
In the close-season you were all so opposed to Mark Yates joining, now you're fawning over him Oldham fans are so fickle
Monty Burns
We have signed a decent player on a short term deal, whilst we try and free up the funds to sign him for longer. Otherwise he may have gone elsewhere. Doesnt mean we arent trying to sign a stiker too. Quite simple really.
