longtimeblue
Chron reports/ confirms that we're looking to have SoD as Director of Football, Kuqi as manager & Shirtliff as assistant If O'Driscoll's on contracted terms as DOF (as opposed to a half arsed token consultancy role to appease the fans about what would otherwise be an underwhelming appointment), I'll be made up. L1onheartNew
I just wish the club would make an announcement so that I can get some bloody sleep!
CaptainThunderpants
If O'Driscoll has been offered n accepted the DoF role that would be a possible explanation to the recent club statement regarding chasing new players. Or said statement was aimed at us offering pro contracts to the three kids yesterday. Edited June 30, 2016 by CaptainThunderpants

laticdickovarmy
I'm only accepting Kuqi if we get a swan dive celebration in a suit on a wet Tuesday night in November when we score a goal Edited June 30, 2016 by laticdickovarmy

daniel
Where's this been put? Had a look can't see anything, I saw it on facebook, can't remember which page it was. He said he was down at BP and saw them, obviously wouldn't take it as gospel, but not sure why someone would bull:censored: about that. They did want to appoint a new manager in days. Adams and McCall both had interviews. Steve Evans was pretty much given the job before doing a U-turn. We were back to square one. Sean O'Driscoll did emerge as a new candidate. Dickov was linked with a shock return. All eyes are now on Kuqi. All of their headlines were actually correct... Scapegoat
Hopefully not long before an announcement is made and we can start to build a squad for the season. Given the almost unrivalled level of disruption at the start of a season - new management and almost an entire new squad - I hope that whoever it is is given some leeway by the supporters. It's unlikely to be a recipe for a good start is it.

Sounds like he prefers to work with the youth's like TP rather than taking the manager's job.

oafc1955
Got a feeling this 'team idea' is going to collapse and we'll end up with Kuqi on his own at best. The longer it drags on I think the more unlikely it'll happen. This is Latics!!!
