jsslatic
I'd just take better home form than Rochdale, pitch could be a swamp for all I care, but each to their own I'd dig up previous comments about Bradford, but even I have better things to do than that... singe
I want better home form than rochdale AND a decent pitch. Sorry if that bothers you somehow. But from the link you provided, Bristol City share, and how did they do last year? The won promotion and pitch of the year. As for Hull, as someonwho has worked for a Council in the past, it doesn't mean you get the best of everything-quite the opposite...
singe
Isn't it funny how opinions change? Only a few years back, the rugby were criticised for being the main cause of our pitch problems. Every week in the Chaddy, you'd hear moans and groans about the Bears or the Roughyeds 'wreckin' the f'in pitch'. One promotion later, and there's a strong support for their return. Personal opinion? The football is bad enough on grass. It won't get any better on sand and mud. And if rent is still owed from years gone by, it's a no no. Congrats to the rugby, though. It's about time the town celebrated sporting success again. I donlt think it was necesarily the majority, just a vocal section. Adn IIRC was used to cover up some ropier form too. NewBlue
I'd dig up previous comments about Bradford, but even I have better things to do than that... Feel free. Their pitch was a disgrace, but would you care if you supported them and were winning? I wouldn't.
Stagger Lee
They would need a training pitch and there is also the reserves / junior rugby league teams to consider too. Little Wembley would not cope with all that so it would make sense to keep Whitebank. They can't stay at whitebank the RFL have already stated this I understand that the first team cant use whitebank but if the kept that ground for the rugby league reserves / training it would ease the pressure on Boundary park and little Wembley.
