blueatheart
Hopefully we'll have a sell-on clause we can buy out next week.
Crusoe
When they say nominal does that basically mean :censored: all upfront but loads of add ons? It means :censored: all. Add-ons optional. But given he wasn't scoring goals for us and was clearly being shipped out, there's no way in hell we'd get a bigger fee for him.

NewBlue
still thinking hes good enough for Arsenal. What a strange thing to say. What do you base that on?
the_mighty_bosh
I think he's made a great career move. It's perfectly set up for him to have a 20+ goal season which could easily be used as a springboard. Sadly it didn't work out for us, but we move on. bigfatjoe1
Another member of the most dire squad in living memory departs. Bye.
the_mighty_bosh
Rarely seen, never missed. Southern softie still thinking hes good enough for Arsenal. During Dunn's tenure, when we couldn't buy a goal or win and he scored 9 in 15 for Crawley, I'd say we missed him.

longtimeblue
22 May 2012 Murphy was released by Arsenal not really adapted to life away from there. That doesn't answer the question

GlossopLatic
What? He hasnt adjusted YET to life away from the pampered Arsenal days and got the work ethic needed at lower levels. Eh that doesn't mean he still thinks he's good enough for Arsenal though does it?
ShireBlue
Appeared quite well adjusted in Crawley. Would have liked him recalled when Dunn was running the show. But alas not.
palmer1
What? He hasnt adjusted YET to life away from the pampered Arsenal days and got the work ethic needed at lower levels. He spent 3 years at Wimbledon before Arsenal and has played for 7 different league clubs having only spent 3 years at Arsenal as a youth. What exactly does he need to adapt to? BP1960
Terry Dunfield? Who was that one on loan from Macclesfield? Edited July 7, 2016 by BP1960
the_mighty_bosh
He wasn't exactly wanted by Crawley though was he at this point when available.. When in a latics shirt failed miserably. He definitely failed at Latics, but I can't think of a player who's had as unsettled a spell with us as he's had so I'd have been surprised if he did succeed. At a guess I'd say that Crawley did want him (a report in the last fortnight said so) but I'm certain that Dale Vince at Forest Green can offer him a much bigger pay packet.
