philliggi
Did he deserve to go? Did he buggary Of all the fouls he committed only the actual one he got sent off for was a foul imo. Ref lost the plot in this second half.
andyhigginsoafc
Acording to Roy on LP the ref was joke all afternoon, good point in the end. Edited October 17, 2015 by andyhigginsoafc
philliggi
Thought he had a great first half tbh. Like a different ref second half

NIKI1234
Dieing was getting stripped off before the sending off. The only person that couldn't see it coming was Burn. He was a liability all second half he's twice the size of Billy Sharpe and didn't win anything against him. Im glad he's suspended, give Dieing a chance. OAFC_ULTRA
It was bollocks. The sheff players spent more time on their arses than their feet and the only person who thought they were fouled was the ref. Ref was very poor at best
palmer1
Brain dead! Foul after foul everyone could see it coming & the sub should have been made 5 minutes earlier.
Chaddyender2
I agree with that the ref was :censored:e, but i dont think he had a choice with Burn. For the 10 minutes before the red card he was fouling people all over the pitch. Needed to be quicker in subbing him off.
rteoafc
Not sure about some of the decisions today from the referee but crazy stuff from Burn. He went in for about 3 or 4 challenges he didn't need to in quick succession after the point it was clear he was on the thin ice which just made a red card inevitable. So stupid - should have kept his head and let the game calm down. Even Connor Brown would have seen that coming.
palmer1
'Oldham fan' Jose Baxter in the refs ear all afternoon & was instrumental in Fulton & Burns getting cards.
leeslover
I didn't see what happened for the first yellow but the ref had his number from then on.
philliggi
Yes the sub should have been made, and yes burn should have held back until it was, but can you really say most of his "fouls" were fouls? I dont reckon so

RoytonLatics
He'd clearly been told that one more foul & he was off. Crazy not to have taken him off beforehand. Agreed, it was clear to see that he was gonna get sent off, either be it from his own accord or purely because the ref seemed to have it in for him. Dunn should've dealt with this earlier

Totally agree, they looked for it and got it, when your in the stand saying get Burn subbed he is gonna get sent off why dont 3 others see it? Other than that great point 12 against 10. welshgaz
Everyone in the ground could see he was going. Sharp was just too experienced for him. Dunn far too slow to react.

4froale
Should of gone off five minutes before. Everyone in the ground knew that.
doctor evil
First Yellow wasn't deserved, for the 2nd it would've been fair if half the fouls given against him were actually fouls. Thought the ref had a poor game, inconsistent, 1 decision for them and another for us.
b0ndl1ne
At least it pairs Wilson & Dieng together which a large number on here have been wanting for some time. They'll get their answers next week
Handsy
First yellow was a definite booking like everybody else has said it was inevitable he was going to get a red .bad management not subbing him before it happened

palmer1
Be serious About what? He was especially as the ref let Fulton walk 20 yards away before calling him back. All players do it and if you don't think refs can be influenced by having someone chirping in their ear all day then you are being a little naive mate...
