Diego_Sideburns
Is there any distinct advantage to choosing which way to kick off first? You've still got to play towards both goals or is my simplistic way of looking at this missing a trick? Kicking down the slope in the second half has always been perceived as an advantage for the players.
super_blue
Kicking down the slope in the second half has always been perceived as an advantage for the players. And the slope has never been clearer with the new stand highlighting it when looking straight in from the main stand! Always new there was one but never noticed how much of one until recently! Before then the drop was well over 5 feet.

Hands on
I think the switch took place at the end of last season when the 'trial' for fans moving to RRE was undertaken.

Only if its a last minute winner infront of your home fans, its an advantage for the fans

singe
Must be Peterborough 5-4?Scary how close to 2 years ago that is. And how only 2 players remain from team plus subs in Winchester and Philliskirk. And our 4th manager since then.
al_bro
Sun is in the RRE's goalie's eyes during first half at this time of the year? It's worse in the 2nd half when the sun goes lower.
Monty Burns
The rules should be that you have to play second half towards your own fans, especially when away from home Thats pretty funny.
