oafc1955
Returned to Burnley due to injury and probably won't see him in an Oldham shirt again. Massive loss to the team on the left side and as good a FB as you will see at our level. An excellent all round player that will be missed. Let's hope Eckersley or Mills can fill the void! Kusunga_Is_God
he had a decent left peg
welshgaz
He's done well but more praise should go to Dummigan who looks a real prospect. Especially considering his lack of experience. Defensively flawless performance at the weekend.
Stainrod
Time for Mills to regain his place and find the form we know is in there.

tringerlatic42
That is sad and bad news I only saw him play in the loss to Scunthorpe and could see he had some class , even though I think that was not his best performance- Unbelievably i saw him referred to by somebody as the worst ever full back to have played for Latics or something along those lines

the_mighty_bosh
Lafferty is well above average at this level, but Mills coming back will allow us to spend in other areas.

With Forte still out, hopefully the money can go towards a pacey winger.

Its said Yeats was outstanding for the reserves, so under DDs philosophy he could start on the left wing on Saturday. Is that in a 4-4-2 system BP? By the way he is quite obviously the best crosser of a ball within our squad.

I think DD now prefers 4-5-1 so could be Yeats in and Poleon sub.

al_bro
I wasn't too impressed with Eckersley at Rochdale although it was his 1st game, so hopefully Mills is fit.

Forced to play on the wrong side perhaps.

I think that Poleon is the only one similar to Forte in the squad with pace, however he is better upfront rather than on the wing and we need someone on the wing to be able to take the game to the opposition as we currently look to slow, especially when trying to break. NewBlue
Due to return, according to Matt Chambers. Mills is a liability, so makes sense.
