HarryBosch
Between the Chaddy and North Stand. Would we be able to see it from the North Stand?
oafc1955
There would be no point putting it there if we couldn't, of course we'll be able to see it.
Monty Burns
Good news that all revenues to go to club. Bad that such clarification was ever needed. I'll chuck a tenner at it on payday, really not arsed about it myself but see the potential benefit. Also my son mentioned it today and thought it was cool so. bozman
The Trust's view: http://www.trustoldham.co.uk/big-screen-knowthescore/ That sounds very positive from the trust. I had already contributed but will put some more in the pot now.
HarryBosch
There would be no point putting it there if we couldn't, of course we'll be able to see it. I sit at the Chaddy End end of the North Stand and don't quite see how I definitely would. Those sat right at the Chaddy End end ,next to the side, surely wouldn't? Between the Main Stand and Chaddy End would make more sense wouldn't it? What happens when Shez moves us back to the Chaddy? oafc1955
Yes, if you're sat towards the back of the North Stand at CRE you would struggle admittedly. I have a feeling that the plan is to eventually join together the Main, Chaddy and North stands as in the Failsworth design so you wouldn't have the side supports obstructing your view. The home fans would then get the Chaddy back and the stand alone RRE would be for away fans. Whether that happens in my lifetime is anyone's guess! blueatheart
Would we be able to see it from the North Stand? I've been told it isn't going between the chaddy and new stand.
HarryBosch
I've been told it isn't going between the chaddy and new stand. So some other poor bastards won't be able to see it?
blueatheart
So some other poor bastards won't be able to see it? Yeah I suppose. But I think it is a reasonable assumption that you have to at least be at the ground so oafc0000 doesn't count
oafc1955
Could it not be put somewhere high up on the facia of the new stand where the gym meets the exec boxes?
laticsrblue
This is a daft idea. I've not read the whole of this thread - has anyone queried what happens when it breaks down out of warranty. Or will it have an extended warranty. Who is going to be paying for that?, Also these extended warranties don;t last forever so after say 5yrs it could break down and be uneconomical/unaffordable to fix. What a waste of money. opinions4u
Presumably part of the income generation would be set aside for maintenance and eventual replacement. Like I do with my car. Oh ... Err ... Ah.
